Sampson Dorkunor is the founder and General Overseer of the Living Bread Missions – an indigenous missionary agency committed to Training, Outreach and Church Planting which has currently has a staff of 16 who are serving in Ghana and the Republic of Togo in the various church planting projects. The LBM runs the Pauline Institute (of Missions and The Bible) under the leadership of Sampson to raise and release workers from a practical perspective. He and the wife Janet also run a Christ-centered and character building basic educational complex known as Precious Kids Academy located in the Ashaiman Municipality – a slum community in Ghana. He provides supervision and member care for the missionary endeavors of the Association of Community Missionaries based in unreached people groups of Northern Ghana and Northern Togo. This work is done in collaboration with ‘Reaching the Unreached’ based in Lincoln, Nebraska in the USA.
Sampson is a graduate of the University of Ghana, University of Cape Coast, Ghana and recently graduated from the Hope International University, Fullerton, CA – USA with emphasis on Intercultural Studies.
Inter-Mission & International Commitment
He was involved in the national missions movement and the immediate past President of the Ghana Evangelical Missions Association. Sampson is a Missions Associate of the WEA’s Missions Commission. He represented Ghana in the REMAP II research into missionary retention in 2003. He later served with the Student Volunteer Movement (SVM2) as National Chairman and African Regional Facilitator. In such capacities, he also worked with the Ghana Fellowship of Evangelical Student – the national wing of IFES where he co-facilitated the initiation and promotion of the Student Missions Awareness Conferences in Ghana for the Universities and Colleges across the country. For the practical interest of missionaries, he does workshop facilitation with Mobile Member Care Team (MMCT) of West Africa.
With a passion for raising local support, he facilitates capacity building seminars for Economic Development International (EDSI) and Mission Resource Ghana.
